By Land

The Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience is housed at the centre of the underground building where a huge domed cave contains interesting images, exhibits, displays and interactive experiences. You can just park the car and take a short stroll to the main part of the cliffs and the visitors centre. If you really want to make a day of it, you can do the entire cliff walk. This an opportunity to experience the wild beauty of the coastal countryside, will take approx. 3 hours. The route along a paved path is an easy walk, always with the sound of the ocean in your ears! Bring a camera and plenty of water. And PLEASE obey the signs. You can also get a guided walk by local farmer and walking enthusiast: Pat Sweeney (starting and ending in Fisherstreet, Doolin). Call Pat: +353 86 822 9913. Tourist Office: +353 65 708 1170 or +353 65 708 1565.

Top Tip: The official Cliffs carpark is free after 7pm (Summer) (Winter 6pm) as the interpretive centre closes for the night. It’s truly beautiful to watch the sunset up there!
